Today is Le Nichole's berfday!!!! She is a wonderful/beautiful/magical creature that I am so lucky to have in my life! Our shenanigans are timeless and our laughs are endless:) You are truly my sister maaaaaaahhhhm!

Tonight I am throwing her a Mexstacio Wizard Staff Bashio! Confused? All you need to know is there will be a pinata filled with burritos:) Pics to come.

I stepped outside to take a look at my window display, and saw this lil' guy chilling on the window. It made me smile:)

2 thing I love in the summer is The Sandlot and Water sports. They both remind me of being little and having soooooo much summer fun. Over the weekend I got some sweet hangs in at my girls Lindsay's folks house in the burbs. Not only was it a nice little getaway from the city, we also made up so many new jokes. We have started referring to the pool as "LindsayLand", it can make all of your dreams come true. Also, my bathing suit this year resembles the one that Wendy Peffercorn wears in The Sandlot, so now my summer nickname is Wendy. I love my friends.

Breaking boundaries in modern technology.

I was just on video chat with Jess(in LA), then Lo(who's in Wisconsin) called me. So, I put her on speaker phone and we had a PHONE-AGE-TROIS!!!! Oh man, I think we are on to something!!!

Brooklyn's Kitchen Sink Sangria.

It seems that this summer I can't get enough Sangria. So I decided to make my own recipe.

What you will need:
1 Big ass vessel
1 Big ass bottle of red wine
1 pint of cheap brandy(the cheaper the better)
1/2 bottle of peach schnapps
a 2 liter bottle of fizzy soda, I like to use cranberry ginger ale.
Assorted fruits- GET CREATIVE!
My faves are: oranges, apples, blackberries, raspberries and pineapple.

Cut up all the fruit and put it in your B.A.V (big ass vessel)
Add all booze, I reserve a some brandy to add a little nip to my glass.
Give it a good swirl and your ready to go!

Serve on ice and splash with fizzy soda.

This stuff is so damn good, I always make a backup;)

I have the best friend's a girl could ever ask for. While at the shoppe Saturday Nichole surprised me with a delicious picnic lunch!!!!! I heart her:)

The Great Gatsby.

I read this book every summer and am OBSESSED with the film version that stars Robert Redford and Mia Farrows. It makes me want to be drenched in champagne, attending lavish parties in my whitest whites. I'm pretty sure I'll name my first son Gatsby. Great minds think alike bc my friend Reena named her kitty GATSBY THE CATSBY!!!! so good! If you have not read this book yet get to it!!!!! Then, pop bottles and watch the movie:)

The " Earl Sinclair"

A couple of month's ago my girl Julie (see tandemonium) scooped up a rad flannel tunic from Le Puff. Since we both got jokes, we kept calling it the "Earl Sinclair". So last night I met up with her and she showed me these sweet pics of her in said frock and I thought they were too awesome not to post. Oh and also, I had to give it up to Earl Sinclair-Duh! Whatever happened to this show? I remember it being pretty sweet.

Any of you that know me, know how much I love this fella! We met on a whim and have stayed bff's for years. Bunny gets home tomorrow for a visit and I'm pretty sure my heart is gonna explode with LOVE!!!!!!! bahahahahahaha. Expect a ridiculous post in the next few days:)
